Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with Something Blue Bridal. We aim to make your delivery experience as smooth and reliable as possible. Please read the following information carefully to understand how our shipping and delivery process works.
1. Processing Time
- Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment is received.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
- Processing means the order gets placed with our manufacturer, who will then ship the item within 5-7 business days. Delivery from the manufacturer overseas takes 5-15 working days. From there the item is shipped via local courier from our warehouse.
- Once the item has been shipped to you via local courier, you will receive an email confirmation.
2. Shipping Options & Delivery Timeframes
We currently deliver across South Africa.
Estimated delivery times:
- Major cities: 2–5 business days after dispatch
- Outlying areas: 3–7 business days after dispatch
Please note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on courier schedules, weather, or external factors beyond our control.
3. Shipping Fees
- Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and vary based on your delivery location and item size or sizes.
- Free delivery may apply for orders above R2000.
- Any promotional free shipping offers will be clearly stated on our website or social media.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, you’ll receive a tracking number via email or SMS so you can follow your parcel’s progress.
Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear after shipment.
5. Delivery Information
- Please ensure that your shipping address, contact number, and email are entered correctly at checkout.
- We cannot be held responsible for parcels delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
- If no one is available to receive your parcel, the courier may attempt re-delivery or contact you directly to arrange collection.
6. Damaged or Lost Parcels
We take great care in packaging your order.
If your parcel arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us immediately at [insert email address] within 48 hours of receiving (or expected receipt of) your order.
We will work with the courier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
7. International Shipping
At this stage, we only ship within South Africa.
